Life Groups

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. – Hebrews 10:24-25

Life Groups at Nac Naz

Life Groups are held every Sunday Morning @ 10:15 am. You might be asking yourself why would I go to a life group? It’s a great question, and you would be surprised at how many people have asked it. Our Life groups are designed to accomplish a couple of things:

  • First and foremost, they provide a safe environment for people to hear the Word and have a discussion around the Word. These are smaller groups, which can be an easier setting to speak up and share whereas these types of opportunities do not afford themselves in settings like Worship. Why else?
  • Our Life Groups also provide safe places to share about your personal journey and ask for advice, prayer, and support through life’s journeys. It is good to know that people are praying for us in our individual lives and it can be a real support when times get hard.

There are a variety of different life groups with many different topics. So come on Sunday and get plugged in. If you don’t like it, well then try another! We are sure there is a Life Group for you! New Classes begin on November 4th! If you have any questions, please contact us.

Uninvited – Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out and Lonely

Ashley Dagostino

Rejection often finds its way into our hearts at an early age. Perhaps as a child you were teased mercilessly for your hair or clothes, or you received an injury and couldn’t play the sport you loved and had to watch from the sidelines, or maybe, like Lysa TerKeurst, and adult who should have cared for you and nurtured you left without explanation. These wounds dig deep into our sense of self and can resurface in surprising ways as an adult. However, this doesn’t have to be the end of the story.

Children & Youth:

  • K-1st Grade – Ruthie Cummings

Ordinary-Sustainable Faith  in a Radical, Restless World

Ashlie Ballard

Radical. Crazy. Transformative and restless. Every word we read these days seems to suggest there’s a “next-best-thing,” if only we would change our comfortable, compromising lives. In fact, the greatest fear most Christians have is boredom—the sense that they are missing out on the radical life Jesus promised.

College & Twenties

Melissa Bohanon

LIVE College & Young Adult balances everyday topics like knowledge, trust, fear, and the leader’s desire to continue to lay a biblical foundation for their ministry. The lessons aim to show 18-20 somethings the relevance of God’s Word for their lives.

Gathering – For Single Ladies

Tina Simmons

Are you looking for somewhere to fit? God is calling you to grow where you are, so why not come grow with us.

Permanent Life Groups:

  • Adult Study – Jim Wiese

This quarter our Adult Lifegroups celebrate the birth of Jesus by contemplating the extraordinary stories leading up to the Messiah’s coming, culminating in the Savior entering the world as a baby in a manger. Students will focus on the teachings and miracles in the life and ministry of Jesus as found in the book of Luke.

  • Senior Adults – Iva Johnson
  • Bilingual – Gayla King

After  completing the study of the New Testament,  this group began a study of the Old Testament Prophets.
Currently the bilingual members are examining Isaiah. In this group, a translator is available and Scripture is read in Spanish. If you desire to have a better understanding of Scripture, and a more intimate relationship with the family of God, this would be a great place to start.
